The Kumari Devi is a living goddess considered to be an incarnation of the Hindu goddess Durga/Kali. Kali being the goddess of destruction and Durga representing the creative/reproductive energy of the gods. Once reaching puberty, the Kumari’s rein will end and she will revert to being a mere mortal.
